A quick reply can't possibly pay homage to the work of art you two have created. I have to say that even the low res shots I'm seeing are just amazing. I came here to find out more info on the Stinger 415 and your boat just left me slack jawed as I took in the beauty of it.

I am entertaining buying a 1986 415 Stinger that has TRIPLE BLOWN big blocks. Engine condition unknown, interior condition unknown etc. Price is LOW! ANY help would be very appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike thanks for the very nice compliment. It's been a long winter working on this project but all the time, tiredness, b**ching, late nights, sanding, sanding and more sanding is finally paying off......even more so when we receive compliments such as this and we have been fortunate to receive quite a few.

I know Rob would be interested in talking to you about the 415. Our Stinger is an 88 and blowers will hopefully be going on in the next winter or two.

PM him and any questions you have and he'll help out as much as he can. He loooooooves to talk boats!!!

Barb

I have owned three boats in the 30' range that I have done major work on in order to get them sea worthy. Two of them Sport Fishers that we painted as part of the major refits. I have an idea of what you guys accomplished. I wish you many fun filled seasons on the water! I will try to PM Rob about the 415.

Thanks again,

Mike

A shot of mine. Wednesday I'll pic up my 502MPI/415 at engine shop. Hope she will hit water in two weeks.

VI mike, keep in mind that it may look like a good deal, but those big blown engines dont last that long before rebuild, and if u have to get into rebuiling 3 blown big blocks that a lot of $$.

Rob, a question:
I got some clear and some hardener. I was given a different hardener than what Scott had. I got HS Hardener 3315. Is this right or do I need to exchange it? Hope fully we'll be ready for clear by the weekend or early next week or whenever help may be available. I will call the paint guys and see what their schedules look like

Adam, I'll let Rob know you posted this....he's been working a lot this week but he'll have more time after today to talk with you.

We have almost one side completely sanded and buffed. Still have 20 or more hours of sanding/buffing to do. Thank God for Eddie that's all we have to say! The "paint guys" will be together this weekend so don't hesitate to give them a call. Your boat looks great from the pics we've seen so far. Keep up the good work!

Hey Mange...

I saw your pic. I see what you mean.
My deck is like your deck.

(Ok.... now back to our regularly scheduled program.)
