Mike:
That's what I was thinking . . . under $15k, especially if you're local in the northeast, which unfortunately I am not, it could be a great deal. The trailer alone would cost someone $7k-$10k new from Slide-On, my buddy has the same one under his Bullet. Figure $15k purchase, plus $3500 per side to freshen the motors, another $1500 per side to freshen the drives and transoms, and $5k for miscellaneous odds and ends, and you're right on the money at $30k. Conversely, you might be able to get away with less than $5k in basic TLC, maintenance and love (cables, hoses, belts, fluids, gaskets) and have a great boat for even less. Harry |
Looking for an original clean bullet with the graphics shown on page 5 post no. 46 bottom photo(Wave graphics) Red-Black-Silver. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the response. Maybe someone will chime in with a whereabouts of one. You're right about the fact that there weren't that many made with those graphics. Thanks again.

Leave it to me to try and locate the most difficult one. It's a classic design.

looks very similiar to 5050's Bullet, if he still has it.

Wayne, really nice clean lines on your boat! Sometime less is more on these boats. Looks great.

Shelby,
The one you are interested in was the Brochure boat for 1988. I'm not sure, but I believe there were at least two made. I scanned in the original brochures that I have and posted them here at: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/c...res-etc-2.html Good luck with the search! |
Hollow point,
Well done. Thanks for the input. That's the one. I'll pay a finders fee for that exact boat. Thanks |
Here is my boat before and after the redo.

Thanks! Drives and trans are still being worked on. All the rigging is out including wires. New vinyl in the cockpit and dash are being worked on. Just need some seat bases.

That's me in the passenger bolster, along with my lake friends. The boat belongs to a LOTO buddy. Has blown 502's w/Imco extension boxes and shorties. The fairing was built by B-Bracket, (Mike Britton) who did most of the bracketry for Cigarette. It's an extremely impressive ride!
