Don't know. I've been trying to find out for a couple years now. Last I knew it was sold through the Aqua Toy Store. Don't know where it went or what it's current status is.

Hollowpoint 06-15-2009 04:21 PM

Sorry R.I.
I just saw the previous post. I have contacted Cigarette and they were ZERO help. I haven't gone to any agencies, but I'm sure they won't give up any info due to privacy. So I'm stuck trying to get the info from a few forums.

Anyone kind enough to provide your Bullet info, please PM me....

Good luck with the sale. It is a strong running boat for sure.

Happy boating

This is my friend's boat, he's had it since 8 hours new. Summers in Old Saybrook, CT and Winters in Palm City, Florida.

Harry, can you post any pics of your friends Bullet? I boat in the Old Saybrook area and wondered if I saw it before...

Cig35Mistress 02-22-2010 10:17 AM

It hangs on a lift off Saltus Drive. I don't have anymore pics. Refer back in this thread to page 44, post #435, someone posted one photo of it. Doesn't do the boat justice. The boat is white, silver and black, with a gray cover, on a Slide-On tri-ax trailer.

Oh yea, I looked at that boat in September when I was lookin to buy one. Nice clean boat, just alittle out of my price range. I guess I should add my boat to the list. I bought it in October and havent seen it in the Bullet thread yet! Its a 1992....Red and Blue srtipes, Hawk 525s with Bravos. Motors being redone as we speak.

Sick Stinger 02-23-2010 08:24 AM

Hey how goes the boat Kev. Get those manifolds?

Hey Mike, picked up 1 set so far. workin on other set. Expensive project here! , so alittle at a time. Hows yours going Mike? You painting it this year? Hows the engines coming?

Cig35Mistress 02-23-2010 04:55 PM

Kevin,

My friend has always priced that 1990 Bullet in Saybrook very high because I don't think he really wants to sell it, nor does he need to. He's got a new diesel 40' Formula SS model on the other lift at the house along with a new Whaler and a couple of waverunners as well. The Bullet had naturally aspirated 468's, full roller motors, that made 631HP on the dyno, but he's since removed them and went back to stock 454/365s. Marine Machine steering, Gaffrig dash, great stereo, relatively fresh paint and upholstery, it's a very nice boat.

kreed 02-24-2010 08:54 AM

Yes Harry, It is a nice clean boat. Your right, he doesnt seem to be pushing the sale too much. I would keep it if I was him!! Keep me updated on your manifolds.....

Sick Stinger 02-24-2010 09:33 AM

Harry post a pic
-Mike Kevv its going no quickly at this rate no paint

Cig35Mistress 02-24-2010 12:09 PM

Kevin, I don't even think its actively for sale any longer. I know he just had the new motors put in and used it this season. He's been making rumblings about bringing it down here, which I'm hoping for, because I wind up using it more than he does :) As soon as I know what I'm doing with the exhaust I'll let you know. More than likely, I'm going to have Brownie redo my tailpipes and get the SM setup.

Mike, there is a pic posted of the Bullet in this thread on page 44, post #435. Doesn't do the boat justice. The boat is white, silver and black, with a gray cover, on a Slide-On tri-ax trailer.

Oh, I love that boat! What power is in that rig? I remember it was for sale for awhile. Tried getting a hold of John in September to see if boat was still available, but no response. Maybe was gone already??

John has 502's in it normally aspirated, well maintained and cared for. Ample power though I have only been out in it once. I intend to leave well enough alone for the time being till I am comfortable. I wish to add GPS, XM radio and weather. Otherwise I need not go 80mph between eaterys at LOTO. I prefer to go in style and not sucking gas at $80.00 per hour. Most of the time.

Just a little warning. At wide open throttle, you may be closer to double that dollar ammount. And the speed is addictive....

Sick Stinger 02-25-2010 09:38 PM

Been for sale 2 years now hear it needs help look at the discoloration of the hull.
-Mike

302Sport 02-25-2010 10:21 PM

it needs a lot of help, its at my marina in old saybrook, ct...............with the prices ive seen nice running bullets go for lately, you could almost get this boat for free and still have more in it than going and buying a nice running piece..

OL40SVX 02-25-2010 10:47 PM

The boat has sat in the water from a good amount of time. I always thought the paint was cool though. Its been around here for a long time

kreed 02-26-2010 06:38 AM

I talked to that guy in September. Hes hard to deal with cuz hes owned the boat for so long, and thinks they are going for what they used to go for 5 years ago. Would make someone a nice long term project if you could get it cheap. Its got Bravos on it ,but I know the steering is frozen on it. (No hydraulic steering.) EVERYTHING needs to be gone through. It was the #2 Bullet made and was a the"Silver Bullet" boat.(Coors) He was asking 25K for the boat, and 5K for the trailer. 302sport is right, you can buy a nice bullet for 35-40K right now.

Sick Stinger 02-26-2010 09:23 AM

35K will buy a sweet built right now or even a 32 hustler i know about. There was a guy thinking about selling his bullet end of season for 35K and it was from the look of it excellent shape there is a thread about it on here.

That true Mike, but the Hustler is a sweet deal too! Ive seen this boat in and out of the water and it is a looker for sure. I recommend anyone lookin for a boat this size to check out Mikes Hustler!! I like the 80+MPH thing......

I would be interested in more info on both boats. Can you email me some more info?

Thanks!

Kev thanks for the plug man.
-Mike Hey let me know when i can come check your bullet out

Cig35Mistress 02-27-2010 02:09 PM

I think that the blue Bullet in CT would be a bargain at anything under $15k including the trailer. Trying to convince the owner of that is a difficult proposition though. He just emailed me the other day, and that was my offer. I've been emailing back and forth with him for a year and a half and I think it was for sale a year prior to that. I think with a little love it could be a great boat for someone.

Sick Stinger 02-27-2010 02:36 PM

lotta love on that harry under 15 yea i agree good deal on trailer another 15 or so sweet bullet.
