Mike, I don't think you offended anyone at all. You asked a valid question and it was answered. Go out and run a Top Gun and see for yourself. Heck, come out here to Cali. and I'll take you for a run in the Pacific in some GREAT Cigarette water!

Boat cruises nicely at 4000 rpms, approx 48-50mph......tops out around 5000-5200 rpms, 63-65 mph.......
