I don't know about speed but, my Top Gun turns out and it is a breese to dock. I had a Fountain that turn in and you really had to fight to get it docked. Not sure if it would have the same effect on the Cig but if it did I wouldn't change for a little more speed.

Can't speak first hand for the effects on a Cig but on my old Formula, they were originally spinning out. The boat handled beautifully, ran great and I could dock it anywhere. In the endless quest for speed
I changed the rotation to inward. I did it at the same time I made many other modifications so I can't tell you exactly how much speed it netted. What I can tell you is it tended to porpoise more at the same trim angles (trying to hold the bow higher I suppose) and it was an absolute BEAR to dock. If you're not looking to wring the last mph out of your rig, leave them spinning out.

Tried it Saturday the 24th on a heavy straight bottom Top Gun. 3 Mph Faster turning in. But the docking is a challenge. I noticed no difference in the midrange with porposing, only more power needed at the docks to make it move.
