Not to worry boys, I have a good title. I also have a surveyor that will look at it when i'm done. If I do ever sell it i will include a scrap book of it from start to finish. I'm an honest guy and would not pass it off as orig. cond.:D

It looks like a lot of work but if you can pull it off you could have a cool boat. You mentioned you planned to spend 40k to redo boat, did you look at any late 80's TG's that were in running condition. Before embarking on this project since you aren't that far away from buying a running boat? With your skills and ambition you could turn a rough but complete TG into a gem.

Sorry to add my 2 cents and rain on your parade. Excessive heat plus fiberglass equals brittle. Call any credible boat builder they will tell you the same.
If you have a surveyor willing to stand behind this and sign off on it great. Have him come to photo and document throughout the whole project. All the best |
That looks like more than $40K but sounds like you have it planned out....Good Luck, post progress pic.

This is what we got done this weekend. Removed the top back half of the deck and cut panel to fit in the port side damaged area.

I like this, I have been thinking of this too. It can be done. I admire your spirit. More pics please. Its not the cost so much as the work involved. Its a cig, don't let it die.:D thanks for sharing.
