that boat is dead. & not safe...imo (sorry)

I bought this Donzi 33zf late one night online. My good buddy Murray and I got it back together with many hours of grinding, glassing,Mold making etc. Most would have said it was not repairable. But looking at this project, it was a piece of cake. Hats off to you my friend and good luck. You have great intentions and far more ambition than most. That being said I have to agree with the above posts. Even for an experienced boat builder that would be a very serious undertaking. IMHO :drink:

All it is , is fiberglass and wood.If I remove all of the bad stuff and replace it with new, then it should be SAFE and in great shape.Now stop trying to rain on my parade.I own my top gun and I am enjoying the time I am spending with it. The bottom of this boat is perfect and there is no way I would let it go to the junk pile.:p

You can bring it back. Keep up the good work.

Be careful with your rib heights on that trailer. If you find a ramp with a break over point that is to steep, yo will hang up and not be able to get her out of the water. You shoud check your measurements for height and don't use a drop axle. I couldn't see from the pics. THey usualy hang around the second rib in front of the axels. I speak from experience.

Hey Jeff, They came out a little lower than I wanted. I do have straight axels though. Also i will be running taller tires.If it does drag , I will trim off some of the bottom. thanks travis:drink:

You can cut your ribs and weld channel on bottom to make flat. This will give about 1-2" more clearance on the front ribs.

Who built your building? Was it a kit? I am about to embark on a barn project.

I gotta side with Travis (Bad Enough) on this one, since he has the stones to take this on, how about giving him credit for bringing the boat back? Those of us who have restored Top Guns can help him out by sharing our experiences. Those of you who want to be negative, go out and start your own freaking thread.

I give the guy credit for taking on a big project on a limited budget but limitless energy. I think he is going to pull it off.
