ttt ... Please keep us posted. Great thread!

stecz20 08-14-2008 07:34 PM

very nice.... its funny why peeps are surprised you'd throw money into a project like this, rebuilding any cig is like redoing a classic musscle car. you will never get the money back you put into the project, its about the project......

What's an SS worth (nice MPG boat) - My Cafe can even go out when the waves are 2-3 - hell, I have had her in 8-10's. Don't get me wrong, I almost but a Cigarette tattoo on my shoulder. I love them, but $100K on a Firefox?

How is that any worse than the 100k in depreciation realized rather quickly in "larger" NEW cigarettes??

Great, now I gotta replace my keyboard from cryin' all over it........... After reading the whole thread at once......................

cigracing1 08-18-2008 04:24 PM

And yea... it's an older hull, but thats just fiberglass.

A brand new 24 pantera w/ serious hardware would be in the 80k-90k range.

So since you think a 100k For a boat that they dont make and will be worth more than a caferacer with 1980's colors. I have a good friend that put 102k into a 1995 CHEVY S10. and that not worth anymore than maybe 8k on a good day. so its all in the eye of the owner would i put 102k into a s10 HELL no but into a boat that i have owned for 12 years and loved every minit and i had the money to spend I WOULD.

SO great looking boat it will turn heads everywhere you go. Enjoy every minit of it.

uuhhmmm.... guys i really am speechless about my boat.

TexomaPowerboater 08-22-2008 12:05 PM

I love the dual throttle set up on the gunwalls, hard to see in the pics, but I know they are there :D

Have you ever driven this boat? Let me know if you need a co-pilot :evilb: My old go-fast was a 24 deep vee (python), it will be handful on Texoma at speed, but a ton of fun.

That about sums it up for me as well! The atention to detail is incredible. The boat even has the new style red start button! Phil has done it again!

Phil, working with Harold from Grafikworx and Mike from Fine-line is an UNBEATABLE combination. Congratulations to everyone involved.

BLee 08-22-2008 02:16 PM

That cockpit/dash is SO COOL! I'm just sitting here laughing at how sweet this boat is. Talk about unique and stylish. It's cooler than any other boat in that size that I can think of for my taste.

ktron 08-22-2008 02:29 PM

Congrats! That is a very cool and rare cigarette!

cigracing1 08-22-2008 02:30 PM

I really didn't know what to expect the finished product to look like but i couldn't of even come close to imagining this. Everyone invloved knows what this boat means to me and i feel like they put their heart into this project.

cosmic12 08-22-2008 02:34 PM

It is so beautiful and perfect I would almost ( I did say ALMOST) be afraid to use it:ernaehrung004:

Comanche3Six 08-22-2008 04:29 PM

The interior/instrument cluster is phenomenal!

drpete3 08-22-2008 07:15 PM

Honestly it looks like it should be in a museum!!!

I am freakin serious! Its just increadible. What would it be worth in 20 years if just preserved as is?

AWESOME!

GB 08-22-2008 08:32 PM

Over the top!

tamburello 08-22-2008 10:55 PM

Phil's 20 was previously my favorite single engine Cig. This one has taken the prize. Totally bad azz! Have fun with it.

Roger 1 08-25-2008 11:59 AM

Pure class! One of the sharpest boats I have ever seen.

Roger
