Lip-Ship Edition 36' Gladiator. Last built. 700's and NXT's. Custom paint by Grafik worx and custom features through-out. This thing is coming out sick! Should be done with in the next few weeks.

You shoudn't have started this thread. The Donzi factory got wind of it and somehow leaked it to the production floor. Now, the new ZR,s are too scared to pop out of their molds and production has ceased.

Speeds? I don't know. I'm sure some people will speculate from experience. 110 sounds like a good number.

That thing is gonna hook up like NO other. They may want to rethink discontinuing it after this one runs.

money... cost to too much to build with no rub rail.. i have a feeling they will not stop buiding them.. if the people want them they will be built.. look at the 20s.. we can still get our hands on them thanks to phil....

from what I heard they wont do anymore 20's at all..for what they would have to charge for a hull alone is more than some of the older ones go for complete.

Phil's are usually the coolest at Lauderdale. :cool:

Which is precisely the reason the Mystique/Vice doesn't work with the numbers. Too many bigger preowned Cigarette's, or other boats to be had for the same money.

The last I heard from Skip and Tim, is that if someone wants a Gladiator they'll build it. I'm sure it will cost ya though.

That Gladiator, with those colors, and the NXT/700 package, has potential to be the baddest one yet. :cool:

That Gladiator is going to be ridiculous!!! From what I have seen it has some cool tricks to it too.

The 39's with the 700/NXT run 103-106 and I believe there is more to be had. Talking with Tim and Phil the current setups are for all around. The boats get out of the hole, rock in the rough and have the top end! If they wanted to tweek them more I am sure there is more mph's to be had. I think the Gladiator could definitely see 110mph! Especially in the hands of Phil!

Can't wait to see it finished!

I don't think this Glad will be at the Lauderdale since it's not technically in their line up any more. But from what I've heard the boats that they are going to floor are going to be insane!! Some cool stuff with some different paint styles and custom touches. VERY COOL STUFF!

I have not seen the Firefox in person but just talked to Phil about it yesterday. He's very proud of it, as he should be. It is absolutely the baddest 24' to ever be built...Cig or no cig!:eek:

As others said. No more 20's, no more 36's, no more 30's....Of course you pay enough and you can get whatever you want! Cigs are custom built/custom ordered. Pay enough $$ and you can have it.

This boat should be way different than any others they build.... sit down, no cabin etc etc. Hate to see them not make any more, especially with this drivetrain. Sit down boats are awesome and this one will take the cake! Maybe some 850s or bigger:eek: would sweeten the pot even more!

How much more weight on a 6 vs. NXT?

Looks like they may be moving the throttles forward a little which is a plus.:rolleyes:

I love where my throttles are. I was going to do a left hand drive, but Phil talked me out of it. Also, thank goodness Cig is using Latham throttles now across the line.

That is where mine are (where the shifters are). Mine is left hand drive. I think they are a little to far back by an inch or two.

Paul, What is the upside of Latham over MM besides triple the cost, no dealers, no credit card ability and cash up front payment before shipping?:party-smiley-004::drink:

The Lathams shift alot nicer. With the MM, you have to feel for the neutral or jiggle the shifter just to find it. With Lathams, neutral is just a click away. There is a much more distinct and precise feel going into gear as well as coming out of gear. One thing I do like about the MM is the trim button. The Latham trim button sometimes has a habit of sticking where as the MM button works flawlessly.

I know Tank has all the pictures caus i do too. Tank you're cracking me up!

i liked my mm throttles... they went out of there way and took the time with me when i was choosing... hmmmmmm both are a great choice no lose either way.....

Have patience. The boat is not completed yet. If Tank prematurely releases the photos, he could ultimately be banned from Lip-Ship nation and worse, the Cigarette factory (The Holy Land) :D
