TANK... Nice to here from you. You gave me some good info when I was lookin for my gun in 04. Do you still have the one you got from Phil with the #3's. By the way, I didn't follow your advice and have put money into the bravo's. All in all, I love my boat. I'll let you know what I find. Hopefully it will help.
Right on brother. You picked up a great boat. Enjoy it and post some pics from time to time.

Let me know how you track down that problem. I think it's the same as mine.

Check all your ground wires too..... the connection might be good enough for a little tester, but not good enough to crank the engine....

I don't think it's a ground issue. Engine turns fine when jumped at the solenoid, either by 12VDC to the coil or by a screwdriver across the posts. I haven't had a chance to get back on it yet. Been a very hectic week.

On my boat the ignition hot comes from the battery to the fuse panel under the bow to the ignition switch. This should be the same on yours. Make sure the fuse under the bow is working properly and is turned on. Also check connections from the key switch and kill switch.

Nuetral safety switch could also be the culprit.

I checked the switches and everything looks good there. I have power and the load side tested identical for both switches. One worked and one didn't. Been tied up with more pressing issues lately and haven't been able to get back into my boat. I now have some additional wiring info thanks to Eric, so if it is not the neutral safety switch. I will be able to do some more trouble shooting. I post what I find.

Finally got back to the boat to winterize everything. Wiggled the shift lever and the port motor started. It was definately the nuetral safety switch. I will tear into it and adjust/replace what ever it needs.

Thanks to everyone for you comments and help. Still would like to get a schematic for the 98 gun if anyone has it. The info on the 90 cafe is a help in a lot af areas though.

Thanks Again
