Forget the condition, that boat is ug-a-lee.

The kicker is the actual price. The seller may have mentioned that he would take $100k for it, but once he talked to a couple of dealers he raised his asking price to $125k. The price we had agreed upon was less than $125k, but a lot more than $100k. I think the seller said he had two other offers....one of which was $125k. I figured it needed $20k in paint repair, interior, gauges, cockpit cover, swim platform repair, trailer repair, etc. Who knows about the engines and drives. It showed a lot of saltwater use and overall neglect.

That boat has always been lower on price than the rest as well. I remember when Martin Offshore had it for sale years ago, and it was a good $25-$30k less than the comparable boats for sale at the time. I saw it in person a few times back then, and it looked just as good as the rest of theirs as far as the condition.

You'll find a better one! :drink:
