I'm sure you could drop $50-60K to bring that boat up to snuff. A Florida boat with 600 hours is going to need everything.

The thing is that if you guys say Randy's boat isn't worth 125k, but Wilds is worth 149k (which I agree with), then how can this old turd even get close to being worth 100K with 600+ hours on it.

It even looks grungy in the photos.

Not Mercury Racing, but a friend of mine just rebuilt his "tired" 502 EFI's that had 1400 hours on them. They did have some problems including some broken springs, but they still ran!

Guy bought it for $80K, basically I can gaurantee that. I've been waiting for it to pop up as someone tries to flip it.

I was trying to buy that thing to make it a project as I could bring it back over time.....but of course someone who thinks they're gonna flip it buys it. This has happened several times to me now.

There's a chance those motors have never been refreshed as well from what I've heard. What you don't see is that there are rips in the vinyl, the cabin liner is falling down, and there are some scratches in the paint. It is not worth 100K considering how much would have to go in to make it nice, I'd say 80K was too much for it in this condition and being a repo.

The one at 125 would make a hell of a lot more sense than this at 100.

Is that a cut and paste from the email?

I love it when someone trying to sell you a 100K toy can't form a real sentence, or bother to type more than 2.

Jupiter Sunsation can get you the history on it, as he knew the prior owner.

so what's the boat worth? the seller says he's firm at 100k. still seems like a bargin at or around that price. it wouldn't take much to bring that boat back to life. 50-60k to refurb.?????????????? no way, unless you want to send it back to lip ship. 10k on both motors and another 10k on misc. that's 20k tops and you have one nice boat.
