RE: pricing vs. selling
The banks dont like financing older boats even with a survey
Many dont have 50k cash to drop on an older boat
That is a large reason for the down turn on the resale of the older boats, thus the old boats dont have as much appeal to many of the would be buyers
Im looking for one (38) myself, alot of people love my old boat, but they are people that need to finance (I dont need 3 boats sitting around when not in use.....darn city ord.)

My car mechanic was talking to this boat owner and he is wanting to part the motors out. He did not give me a price what he wanted for the motors, but he did say the motors have been sitting for like 7-8 years.
It should need value springs, piston rings, and probably a few more things sitting that long. Just on FYI. The boat has been sitting outside for 10 years. I am told it needs all new interior, paint, gauges, motor rebuilds, tires on trailer, boat has no props, carbs need rebuilt, and it needs 1 drive. Per my mechanic, this does not sound like a good deal to me. I am also in N. Ky but at the present time, I do not need another Cigarette.
