Thanx guys that helps a lot.. my gut feeling was thats its just too much boat for me and a possible $$ pit. I couldn`t find the motor on Chiefs site so I wasn`t aware that
they are pushing them to the max to get that HP #
I think I like the drives more than the boat plus at that weight Id be looking at a new tow vehicle too which would complicate things.

Hi you could allways run smaller pulleys on the blowers and solve alot of issues with just that IE: run reg gas and easly double the life of they engines, but that still dosn't change that it's not priced right for this current market.

Old School is right. Way too much $$$ for that boat. I'd really have to see how they can honestly say that they are 850 hp engines. That right there tells me that I have questions about anything else that's said about the boat. Take a close look at the trailer, it's about 4 feet too short for that boat, the azz end hangs wayyyy over the end of the bunks.
For 80K, you can find a real nice top gun with decent power, and you'll be glad you did. And BTW, don't worry about your driveway, you'll get it in there like there's no tomorrow. LOL

I have Chief 502's and they don't make 850HP. If they are chief, then I would give Tommy a Call and ask about the engines. His 502's were 675-700HP. The next step up were 540's.

Here’s another very nice option for you and real close to the same money. This one won’t use a third of the gas and is probably only a couple mph slower.
