After all this? I know it's very frustrating and seemingly never ending but you've done an amazing job not skipping over anything. Really hat to see it come to an end here. But I get it, I've pulled the plug before.

reading threads like this make me want to never buy a boat again!

I hate it also. just not feeling it anymore.not saying its getting parted out or sold off. just going to box it up and put it way.

no one has any idea how bad I want to here it start up. have only heard the motors from video of the dyno. can still be talked into finishing it but will have to see.

I don't blame you one bit. Been there many times, but I guess I'm too damn patient and trod along like an elephant. It's like my will was stronger and more persistent than the boat's will was to defeat me.

The next set of pictures are what happens when you have 30gal of water and a bulk head that is rotted from it. Also just a very strange junction of bulkhead, cabin and cockpit door happing all at one time and 3 piece trying to join that are all being held by a no good bulkhead.

You will see the hole that was a crack. It was cut out till all the busted or bad glass was gone. Made a huge mess and the door way was gone by the end of that. Well has to be fixed. Started off by bonding the sepret piece to together. (Why they were not to start with idk) so now the bulkhead, cabin and cockpit are one not 3! From that point a door casing had to be mad from scratch as you can see from the hole. Again no wood was added just coosa and glass to the buddle think coosa front bulk head. (Had room to add a extra 3/4" board to the front and back bulk heads from the post above. After the now casing was made it was had rolled in gelcote the sand smooth for a seamless finish. Also got under the cabin liner and added glass help strengthen the bond tothe stringers and the cabin floor. No stone unturned was the plan from the start. "Let's make it better then cigarette did" doing all this helped remove all the teak or coverings on the doorway.

You sir are relentless. I wish I had 1/10th of your determination. I hope you finish your boat. Once the bodywork is done, the shiny noisy stuff goes in. Keep the faith bud.

Very nice work!!! You are getting closer and closer! The hardest and dirty part is mostly behind you!!! So get in this finishing part just adding what is missing, to a pace that wont get you tired of doing it, and you ll be done!
But yes, lots of work! Been there done that... and im about to start another similar project! A long term project!

I used to put my engines in a "time out" corner, cover them up with blankets when I got frustrated with the work and money being put out. Told myself a few times that i`m taking a summer off to give myself a break .. never lasted more than 2 weeks , I`d be right back at it with renewed motivation.
It` s a sickness
