Wasn't going to post it till it was all together and done. This is just the test fitting and pulling it back apart to anodize all the alum parts and powder coat all the steel parts to the motor mounts.

sonic700 02-25-2016 08:37 PM

Coming together really nice. Can't wait to see more

akaboatman 02-25-2016 09:36 PM

Yes indeed.

tcwcar 02-25-2016 10:28 PM

Looks great Casey, dam I wish my Mystique had that magic seat, looks like you got a hole lot of room in there.

caseyh 03-14-2016 09:16 PM

It's not that much room with the trans behind the motors

We have wiring in the boat now. The light can been seen kinda

akaboatman 06-16-2016 09:42 PM

You will enjoy it when it's done. Keep up the great work Brother. Can't wait to see it on our water.

Cig35Mistress 06-17-2016 01:14 AM

Casey,

I just read this entire thread in one sitting. You're doing one helluva job, brother! Keep up the AMAZING work. I started the same thing with a 35' Mistress back in 2004, got it to the stripped out stage, had fresh 496 stroker motors built, rebuilt the SSM #2's, had brand new 72C transmissions ready to go in, then started to completely rewire, rerig and chickened out, sold it all separate in 07 or 08, and built a little 26' Corsa with a single instead - so, moral of my long winded tale, I really admire your dedication, and your attention to detail! Everything you've done is absolute perfection!!

My uncle has a 1990 Bullet, with basically stock 454/365s on Bravos, and my mechanic and I just spent three months freshening it up for him - had both engines out, drives off, basic servicing, repainted the engines, mostly cosmetics, tidied up the rigging and cleaned up the bilge - all very basic, but cost a fortune and lt like an eternity. I can't imagine what you're going through! Regardless, the end justifies the means, and your boat is going to be GORGEOUS!

At one point, his boat had a set of naturally aspirated 468s, roller cams, solid lifters, big aluminum heads - made 631HP on the dyno, and ran right around 78-80 MPH...I'm sure yours is going to be a beast.

Looking forward to following this thread, and to seeing the final product on the water soon. Wishing you all the best, and nothing but!!

Harry

BDiggity 06-17-2016 03:17 PM

Looks great! Where did you get the purple LED's for engine compartment? I cant seem to find them anywhere.

caseyh 06-19-2016 10:55 PM

http://https://www.customdynamics.co...ent_lights.htm

Not sure if it's the same brand but they have marine ones. Also purple is also called UV(black light) by a lot of places. Know for a fact the Baja I had they were UV. These were bought and put in by lighting jack coustoms not sure of the brand, but this they were called purple.

nailit 08-12-2016 09:27 PM

How's it going Casey?? You running this boat yet?

nope and after resent flooding ill say it will be pushed back even more with all that's going on and about to happen in everyone rebuilding. the boat and all parts didn't see any water but all involved in the rebuild have construction companies and will be busy with that.
