IMO 1 inch below the bottom with 750s and going 83 mph, your drive height is not holding you back. Even with the 900s I would start with the drives where they are.
Doesn't your boat have a spacer in the drive now? If so try it without the spacers when you put in more power.
What is Old School's take on this - he drove the boat with big power and modest power. Experience is worth way more than bench racing.

Seems so much longer but I only got this boat a year ago...

city won`t let me build a garage so next best thing :

Add a 6x6x18 I beam with trolley

Now I host engine pulling parties!
