Running my old 17X 25 four blades and the 3 inches of spacers gets up on plane betwen 2,500 and 3,000 rpm without allot of effort . My first impression with the notch it that it runs with a little more bow in the air attitude and reacts much quicker to trim . The one blast I attempted saw 4,700 rpm and 73 mph in dead calm water for only a few seconds ( still breaking in motors ) . I know props are wrong and my engine guy figures we are light on timing . The carbs need to be adjusted now that it is wet . I think there is at least 10 mile in this set up once we spend more that the 15 minutes I have spent so far .

Yesterday in Toronto it was 38 degrees celsious so we put the boat in and went for ride to the Toronto harbour and then to a cool water access restaraunt in Port Credit called Snug Harbour . Here is a shot of a buddy of mine and me leaving the restaraunt.

I was on the rooftop terrace of my office downtown, wishing I was out there. It was a gorgeous day. Where do you launch? Also, did you happen to get any depth readings going into port credit. I take my boss their in his 53 carver, and we draw 5'5" and I hate that narrow shallow channel to get in there.

Normally I would lunch at Park Lawn , but Tuesday I launched at Lake Front Promenade in Port Credit . I don't think you should have issues getting into that harbour as long as you stay tight to the wall on the east side . There were some pretty big boats including a rather large Sail boat there that day .Its a great place to go and have a refreshment and hang out . Friday will probably be the last day I run lake O till September as I will probably take the boat up to my cottage on lake Simcoe till labour day . Where you normally boat.
