does the ass of the boat sit low in the water?? you may want to extend the pick up tube towards the back n the trans..the pick up is more towards the front and starves the tranny..call federal marine,,ask for jim,,he was a engineer for BW transmission and knows all the mods that need to be done..708-352-2200 jim.... http://federalmarinetransmissions.com/102801.html

may be from the bigger hp that the engines are putting out..the oil in the trannys mught be getting too hot and smoking the clutch's...you did change the cooler when you swaped the trans ? if not then old fluid might have had crap in it and smoked the new trans..once you get it back to gether make a hard run and shut the engine off, take your raytec gun and check trans temp..may need a bigger trans cooler..

My buddy did all the work flushed everything and all that, the other trans is perfect... same setup... not sure whats going on yet, hes gonna tear into it tomorrow I think... these transmissions were with the power I bought also, not the ones that I had before... mine were stock 420 so I let them go with my engines when I sold, these have redline clutches..

Bam says pressure gauges are more important then temp, I run the pressure gauges.... if they are getting hot pressure drops... then you know you have issues...I see 100 psi at idle, 120 or so under way
