There isn't an item / system on that boat that is up to snuff. The entire pile is in need of reworking. Honestly, it's worth more parted out as a proper restoration would put a guy 40 to 50 k upside down! This thread has definitely highlighted the young mans gumption and, along with it, his shortcomings on paint and bodywork, his lack of experience, his lack of integrity and what a mess this thing really is. So, who's going to buy this for anywhere close to 30k? :angry-smiley-038: as I stated a long time back in this thread .if any money were to be made (actual profit) he should have made it run and flipped it right away for a few bucks more than he payed for it ..or as I said parted the boat out .. |
Wow! Haven't looked at this thread in awhile and its another 10 pages. I am one of the original "haters" don't know why everyone is just bashing FF. Once people got to see the boat at LOTO and said it was nice I thought to myself sweet the kid pulled it off, good for him!! But these new pictures show a whole new side to the story. I don't want to bash Phil anymore. He seems to be a good kid with great motivation and love for boating. Phil the boat is not finished yet. Finish the boat and all the details, this is not what you want to show people or sell if you really want to start a shop.

what really makes me wonder is the guys that said the boat looked very good .did a nice job ect .what the hell were they looking at
makes me wonder if they know good from bad .. im not a hater of the kid he has drive and a dream but lets get real this boat is not a quality job a while back he needed a gill manifold for this boat I texted him I had 1 and he could have it for free .then he started with mine isn't the same as his he needed a left not a right .there all the same as we know.. we swapped pics back and forth. in the end I gave trying to help when I was told to overnight it .I did try to help him but he made me feel like I didn't know what I had .hes gonna learn the hard way |
