I thought the Scoops were good looking. Still a place to layout down the middle and in front. Boat looked fast standing still.

Here are a few pictures of a flat deck with hatches and scoops. This is not my boat, but I have seen pictures of it on OSO in the past and maybe the owner can chime in.

Your boat and HustleThis (Hot for teacher) made me go this route, I think it looks good. I wanted to do a "wolf in sheep's clothing" look as I do not prefer the outrageous, but there just is not enough clerance under the hatch when you start piling stainless and aluminum on top of the engine.....
