Testing again Sunday, had a little setback. Lost a skeg, a big piece of skeg! Just got the drive back from Colabellas. It has a new out of the box lower. Now we have 4 sets of 5 blades sitting here waiting. I think we will get it this time.

On the boost? My cig is 2 lbs at 2800, 52 mph, 3 lbs at 3500, 62 mph. It's the large diameter props. I run 17.75 x32, 15 rake Mercury 1200s. Have no use for Herings, just a bad taste in my mouth.

It will be in KW, we have 7 cigs running on Tuesday from the upper Keys to Key West, if anyone wants to join in, bring your Cig and come on. While in KW please come by the Galleon, we are there most afternoons.

We now have: 5 blades
17.5 X 29
18 x 30
17x 31
17.75x 32
17.5 x34

4 blade: 17.5 X 33

One of these should be close. We went back to inward rotation.

We own 17.75 X 32, 17.5 x34, the rest are borrowed. At 10500 per set new it sure is nice to borrow until the right ones are chosen.

At $10.5K a set you triple check the prop nut torque! Keep the updates coming. Love this project!

It's a Twin Step, very slippery, 30 feet, 7500 lbs. 37 pitch 4 blades, Boost/Vac is ZERO @ 80 mph. Will build 7 lbs @ 5650 . It's incredibly efficient. FWIW, I have zero use for bogus data, just sharing real world experience here.

-Sorry for the Hi Jack on tis Six thread Jim!

Really enjoy threads of this nature.
