I'm Really struggling with what to do about the drives though. I want to buy the boxes that hace been offered to me but I don't know if they will put me at the height I want. Motors can't go up anymore so I have to adjust with the drives.

Also so I only put 4 hrs on the boat after I bought it so I have almost zero seat time in it which was also 3 years ago.
Curious on what drives Brian’s running... Any chance you could build on his learnings.

He's running the same drives #3 but he is 2" or so higher. He doesn't have headers or tailpieces. Even he would like to be up another inch or so.

Kinda hard to disguise it as a sleeper that way. It's already obnoxiously loud even with mufflers.

I'll probably just run what i have and look for 5s on boxes once I get the bank account refilled.

^^^That's probably a good plan. Will advise if I decide to move to arnesons and I can sell you my entire setup.

I would hope, however, my boat would be gone/sold before I ever reach that point.

Ironman you are gong to want to make sure that you core plug all of your mounting holes in the transom when you use Coosa board because it will crush under the load of the drives and tabs. We use garlite that we get from McMaster Carr. If you have any questions feel free too call Regards Dan

More body work. All holes were ground and glassed.

Thank you. I am sure Bruce knows this but I will make sure. He does tons of transoms and is crazy about making sure what he does is overbuilt.
