you’re right people congratulated me and that’s great and I love that and I said thank you to them people but there are history between me and other people that you may not know about so if I don’t take something from someone there’s a reason behind that... some people just do not like me so when they comment BS on my thread I tell them to go stuff it

What ASD's are you looking at? I will have a complete used twin engine ADS6 set up and a single engine ADS6 set up available shortly.

frickstyle 11-17-2017 03:13 PM

Ooooh, I wish that would work for me. At a min, ASD7M, would prefer 8M, but pricey, pricey, way too pricey!.

In my personal experience, that disapproval usually rears it's head in the form of "Blower Whine"...

frickstyle 11-18-2017 11:20 AM

High pitched?

Typically, but nothing that can't be resolved with a shopping trip, dinner and cabernet sauvignon. Funny how "Bust out another thousand" solves Blower Whine...

yup. Caymus Special Selection. My son works for a pretty large distributor, so that eases the pain slightly... Wonder if she'd notice if I cut it with some Newman's or Coppola?

payuppsucker 11-20-2017 05:34 PM

Best Cab out there in it's price range. Period. I'm pretty sure she'd notice...................I know mine would.

Finally had a chance to water test it today, been sitting a few years so was nervous, all went well!

Only big issue was was when they put steering rams back on after seals the lines were flipped, so if you steer right boat goes left! And so on... that was fun lol
Aside from that ran flawless, saw 70@5500 in literally flat water, some 4 blades and chop I’m sure there’s more, but happy it went away running!

Props now are 16.5x27 3 blades

Well done Tim!

jeff32 12-03-2017 07:46 PM

Whats the drive ratio? 70 mph with 27 pitch seems low? Good to hear everything went well!

not sure yet, gonna work on that

J-Bonz 12-03-2017 08:45 PM

Awesome to hear!

Full Force 12-04-2017 05:07 AM

Thanks, I am sure theres some more speed there as lake was spit flat, the guy that built engines said they are very rich tuned for the past owner (did not wrench at all) so he set up safe, probably a 74-75 mph boat done, I am not that concerned at this point about the numbers, I have the driveline I need for the kind of boating I do, I am not sure what HP is but feel even swapping mistress engines in is not going to be a huge change..so I am going to leave it alone mechanically.

1989mach1 12-04-2017 06:46 AM

Wow ice skating in hell never thought I'd see that....

1989mach1 12-04-2017 06:47 AM

Just joking with u

Knot 4 Me 12-04-2017 07:17 AM

Good looking boat. Someone went all out on those CG numbers in the bilge! :D

Full Force 12-04-2017 07:29 AM

Lol

Unlimited jd 12-04-2017 08:17 AM

Factory number 3 boats had a very deep x dimension. You probably won't gain much going to 4 blade props

Full Force 12-04-2017 08:32 AM

Correct just seems most guys run the 4 blades, I will know more in spring when I get some chop under the boat, I am honestly ok with seeing 70 so far. I will play with it next summer just over the blowing trs’s Up lol

MINK 12-04-2017 09:30 AM
