I think for this season coming up I’ll just finish it like this and next winter make the bed in there

That is my take on tank replacements.
75gallons each , usually it takes about 60 gallons .
I was not about to cut the whole thing up to get the old tanks out just opened them up like a tuna can and put new tanks inside .

Well boys and girls bets some popcorn cause ****s getting deep full cabin is out saves ever piece going to Put it in the back of the dump truck tomorrow go weigh it throw it all away and then re-wear the truck I would like to know the exact weight of the cabin also decided to rewire the entire boat due to finding multiple wiring problems throughout the years some of the wiring they just ran over top of the stringers and sat the liner down on top of them decided remise will wire the whole mechanical side start over fresh with every wire in the boat we figure after that it should be done close to a new boat we hope lol

once the floor of my tiger was up, my tanks lifted out whole. you will have to unbolt your helms. but if you are working with Dave, you can put the upgraded ones that he made helm molds for like on justins and the yellow gun.

Did your original floor extend to the hull sides?

For cabin ideas you should check out what Baja did to their F2 edition. The used suspended race netting to keep the weight down while giving it a hammock feel. It was really simple but functional. I bet Xt Dave would know what I am talking about. If interested I could dig back into my old powerboat stash over the weekend

yes, ironically we found out that this was the second set of tanks.. I've heard the rumor of tiger tanks with the bump out leaking so I assumed they were original. also the original owner of this boat built a twin step with the same paint job just a year later, i always wondered why someone would do that a year later, the bad tanks in mine were made in 01 by the build tag and had no bump out and the tanks were thin and the work to put them in was shoddy at best. the boat was actually put back together under a bind. When mark was doing it and cutting out the floor the boat sprang into postion while on my myco. i gained speed since then too, so im pretty sure the bottom was a little jacked up from the tank redo in 01...
