Does anyone know the order these going ? Been a long time since it has had an engine in it. I do not recall the order. I thought the felt washer went in between the tail house and inner transom plate but I do not think so mabye one there and one up top ? Trying to get alignment right

It depends which bell housing you have but there is a bulletin but unable to upload because it's 4.9MB pdf

The page indicates wound washer is not used if bell housing is as pictured and serial number is above 0M660000

division1 11-08-2024 06:26 AM

Yes this was a trs set up. The boat has the Konrad conversion but still uses the trs inner transom plate and hardware

AllDodge 11-08-2024 06:41 AM

Sorry, don't know what you have

division1 11-08-2024 07:13 AM

All good thanks for the info tho !!!

Rick G 11-08-2024 04:20 PM

Middle picture in post 1320 is correct. The large washer sits on top of the felt washers and the tail stock on top of that the the smaller washer goes on top of the tail stock and the blot through that . Hope that helps. Rick G .

Used one of those poly blocks for alignment I have to say it’s much nicer moving those around instead of a fully rigged big block

no offense but didn’t you say that like 2-3 years ago. And werent you giving me **** for saying sometimes buying boats that are ready to go boating are sometimes better than buying projects…

division1 01-08-2025 01:24 PM

I don’t believe I was giving you **** I believe you had commented on the rebuild thread why people spend time on projects when they could buy a running boat. You are correct some people should just buy a running boat. I started this project when I was in my late 20s this has turned in to a way bigger project then I ever imagined. Didn’t think it was ever going to go this far . But as our family got older and boating habits changed I realized my purpose for the boat changed as well. We want to travel and see places we want to run the Bahamas trip and the keys trips so I dug deeper until there was nothing left to replace. When it’s done I’ll be happy with it. If it makes you feel better yes I regret going this deep into it. I regret it taking so long. But I also don’t have the money for a brand new boat this size. When it’s done it will be the closest thing to that I will ever have. Good luck with the sale of yours

How many gal. fuel tanks and what was the turn around after ordering? ....stout engine brackets!

division1 01-09-2025 06:36 AM

I ordered the tanks on a Monday they were done by Thursday and shipped to my door by the following Thursday. They were really fast. I shortened them up a bit. Mine are 90 gallons per tank. Let me know if you need there contact info !

smashm 03-13-2025 10:05 PM

I keep checking back for any updates. Any progress?

Bfoodman 03-14-2025 12:53 PM

we all are!!!!

division1 03-15-2025 10:04 PM

Yes ! Fuel tanks are in! Lines are hooked up one engine is completely rigged and ready to test fire in boat. I was waiting for the lake ice to go away to back it in check for leaks and test fire the one engine. Made a plate for other drive hole. Then I can check for any water leaks and such. Next hurdle is figuring out what I want to do for trim indicators I’d rather not have cables I’d like to go electric ones. Livorsi has nice led ones just trying to figure out what senders I need and such ! I’ll get pics up soon !

Bfoodman 03-18-2025 03:54 PM

we are gonna need some pics!!

The truck is nice, but lots of us waiting on those boat pics - but looks awesome for sure!

division1 06-05-2025 06:54 PM

lol I get it. Been working on a lot almost every evening. It’s in the stage of tons of small stuff before final assembly. Realistically hoping for floating test and stb engine test 3rd week in June. I left the port Moter out so I can really have room to check everything for water leaks etc. hoping to drop port engine in early July and spend a 2 weeks doing some final stuff the do some water testing late July. Over the winter I can tinker with final stuff. Some of the small project really take a long time and they add up. I have a few days just in new water pic ups and strainer plumbing. Crazy how time adds up

If those water pick-ups are Hardin Marine adjustable ones, make sure the adjustable part does not move , I lost them and ended up welding them together .

division1 06-06-2025 08:23 AM

Thanks I was thinking of rig welding them once I knew I had pressures correct .

My first ones only lasted for a few miles before one of my engines started to get hot and I then realized one adjustable part was gone and the other one was just about to come off .

Looks Great. Everything looks neat and done right. Nice to see you taking your time and getting things done on your own schedule - unhurried insures a high-quality job. Thanks for posting.
