Had to take a few day break needed to get steering done on the golf cart used a Ford Focus steering column that has the electric power steering built in and then used a Chevy hhr steering rack. It drives so much better steers way easier and turns sharper. All I have to do is build the column wrap going to use sheep metal and use the break to make all the pieces and tiff it all up. That today’s project then back to the boat !!!!!

I dont know how your going to use that but if its going to be run hard... think about something different for steering. You want the tie rod arc to fall in line with the a arms or you can run into a lot of bump steer. The rest of the setup looks like it can have some decent travel. Then again if your only planning on using 3-4" of travel and not 12" its a mute point.

It’s a ball stud mount at the rack. It will travel as much as the suspension will. It is a on road cart only as we use it our campground. We don’t use it as a side by side. Just a people hauler.

So I was really getting depressed that boat was so torn apart the other day but after I found that fuel soaked foam I was kinda happy in a weird way made me think it was worth it cause with ha omg the family out on it all the time and the kids friends I want it safe as can be. I’ve seen to many boats burn. Almost ready to start weeks of grinding and glassing I’m new material

Your dedication to this project will reward you! Easy to lose interest but imo a cleaned up redone cig is awesome to see. Keep it up and thanks for keeping us posted. Happy New Year!
