This is that piece of wood that they used as a half bulk head they glasses to the side with tabbing and then it runs behind the dash area and in my boat was never attached to anything so it was sandwiched between the liner and the dash. I had small spider crackes on the outside due to that hitting the side wall. If your dash area rattles check that area !!!

How do you guys feel about bilge colors I was always set on white but the shark gray is kinda appealing ? Any thoughts kinda was kicking around the idea. I’m reAlly thinking sides are going to be dark silver and the deck like a merc blue. Engines are going to be blacked out.

Seems to be a very common issue. They way it is put together really isn’t the best. With everything removed I’m making that a bulk head that goes from side to side and will run all the way up. That will really help stiffen up the dash area a lot of the ones I have seen that break loose the end up hiring the side when the boat it flexing and end up putting a impact load spider crack on the outside. I had that as well and ground it all down and glassed it up then regeled
