Looks great! How to do deal with the points where the various dash panels come into contact with either the bulkhead or the points on the port or starboard side. Are those going to be tabbed in with fiberglass, or do you use an adhesive or a caulk to deal with attachment and some of the fitment issues
?

Know that the trimmed to fit they fit flush to all sides and bulk head so they will mount just like the other factory ones. Cog uses 1/8 pieces of angle bolted to the sides and bulk head then they drill and tap it and use pan head number 3 Phillips headed 5/16 bolts threw the mold. I will do the same except step up to 1/4 angle and use lock nuts

The side panels for the Interior go right up to each pod and follow the snap of them so they will cover the 1/8 gap we’re they meet as well.

So the various upholstery items will conceal if there is a small gap.

Yep lol it’s in winter hibernation. I’m hoping to have all the molds mounted and final body work done thise week. I have the Interior people coming to make side panels and the panels that go on top of the pieces next week. I have also been ordering at the stuff for the pods ( gauges, controls, switch’s and carbon plates. Ext. that way I can get them together.

Ok final fitment done. After lots of trimming and modifications to the actual pods themself they fit Nicely. Door opening is perfect.

Added some depth for door clearance

Made it super thick so it wouldn’t be flimsy

Thanks! This new style dash conversion with steps took me exactly a year to do. There was a lot of frustration making it all work and not make it look like it was throw together. I wanted it to look exactly like it came with them from the factory. So making them fit was a long process. Take 1/2 inch off one then I have to do it to the other side to. I wanted them the same distance form the sides from one another. It know that there in and door is sliding on the new tracks like butter and everything lined up good I’m very pleased with it.
