Lol well I may be crazy bit that’s ok cause when she’s done I’ll know it’s solid and better then when it left the factory. No cabin liner to move around under nasty lake conditions less weight a bit more speed and I think the most time consuming part will be the rewire. But seems a lot of these 30 year old boats have had a few peoples hand in the wiring it’s sub par at best with several things that could burn it down at any given time. It will be updates to all smart craft and it will take time. But good news is Lake Erie is going to dry up anytime soon my shop is heated and I have a fully stocked fridge in the shop what more could one want 😂😂😂😂😂
re-wiring is way better than the cabin glass work.

Ok since I’ve pretty much made this boat a hot rod know the goal is to make it as fast as possible and as reliable as possible for engine we took the 575 sci and had heads all redone and have long blocks done. I really wanted to build twin turbo engines but everyone has talked me out of it they say it will be very hard to get it correct. So sticking with blower engines. Do you guys think think the 8-71 is a good choice ? And if so what do you think about the throttle body injection I’m leaning towards going to carbs as the engines will make for power with carbs any thoughts ?
