good luck. I wonder what happened to my old Cafe. The guy had emailed me at one point but I can’t find his info……
I received it just as it was left posted above. I have materials ready for a tank stringer to go in after I give it a little bit of a clean. I was told tanks were junk and are long gone so I’ll either Tig weld my own or buy some. OP is a business owner with a family and just had other things going on so he decided to broom some projects and have a boat his family could enjoy!

Hopefully you’re able to find out the whereabouts of her!

Thanks for posting. I saw some of the ones you posted a few years ago after looking around a bit. I’ll start hitting it hard after the first of the year as that’s when I get some space inside to work on it.

Hope everyone had some great holidays and a happy new year!

Not too much to update on.. I have slowly been squirreling away parts when able. I finally got her inside a week ago (sandwiched in between a 27 Maltese Magnum and my friend’s 38 Scarab project) and started cleaning out the cabin. It wasn’t great but will clean up halfway decent after some more work that will come later.

I will hopefully be starting on some glass work in the coming weeks!

you are in a big project !

i just saw your friends 38 scarab in the picture! i inquired about it but he does not really answer to my emails...
he is in a similar or bigger project than you are ! Did he keep working on it?
are you helping him? and he is helping you? or you both do your own on each of your boat?

nice playground by the way !

Thanks, I am pretty excited for the new digs as well! I’d prefer to own a place but this works for now since a few of us went in on it!

I ended up with the Cafe in October! Eric(Division1) happened to be at a buddies shop with his TG when I stopped in and said something about his buddy selling a cafe and a scarab. My friend bought the Scarab and I got this. The scarab needs way more than the cafe I’d say but it’s much cleaner to work with.. It was purchased with brand new stringers and bulkheads throughout the boat. We just did the transom and engine stringers on it as well.

We help each other when we can. I work swing shift and they work regular hours so I’m working on my stuff at 2am some nights while everyone else sleeps. There’s a Few other guys in there as well.. everyone is always willing to help out!

I will try to keep up on it! As for him.. I wouldn’t count on it. Maybe I’ll make one for his in the Scarab sub and try to keep it somewhat updated as I don’t want the mods after me for posting the wrong brand of boat in here!

Progress has been a bit slow but moving somewhat along. Replaced front and rear bulkheads for the cockpit and those are all tabbed in. Tank stringer is stuck in with Cabo but still needs tabbed in. Next up is finishing outside tank stringers and moving on to tanks.
