Just did it this winter. It is attached with door panel retainers also known as "christmas trees". You have to carefully pry off with a wide screw driver or door panel tool.

Thanks for the solution and thanks for the comments...Fermin gets the credit for the color scheme..looks a lot sharper than the white did when he bought it.

There are also two nuts that hold the grab handle studs. You get to them from inside the cabin.
