That ad of the 36 is great!
Shows that the bow rail did come from the factory that way!

wasn't there a thread somewhere about a bowrail on a 35?

I have a '95. Send me a private message with your email address. I have the manuals and most of the wiring diagrams.

I tried to buy the newest one a few weeks ago, but the guy wanted a LOT for it compared to what a standard Submariner would cost you.

I also called Skip to see if the newer one is officially licensed, & he said it is not. They originally tried to go with Rolex to do their watches a few years ago, but Rolex wanted them to order more of them than Skip was willing to commit to at the time. So, the face on the newer one has been custom made, & while it's really cool, the guy wanted triple what a sub would run you.

I'll continue my search for one of the originals!

I got your PM; email sent with everything I have.

I would highly recommend you remove your email address from public view. It's just asking for trouble. Cheers.

That is really interesting. I wonder how many was too many to order for Skip. If it wasn't "too many" I would gaurantee he'd sell them off.

So if I read the above correctly, Rolex did actually commision a few Cigarette Subs? Then there's the altered face ones (not lic. through Cig)?

How many were orignalyl made and what years?

I didn't think to ask how many they wanted him to order. I'd assume it had to be a few hundred or so? He knows he could sell them, so it had to be a lot for him to decide against it. He had to have agreed to at least 50+ of the other ones they made, so to carry the Rolex line had to have been a substantial increase.

I have a Cig brochure on the diesel Cafe. Anyone else see that one?
