Default Engines have been located!

A fellow OSO member had two merc SBC's for a great price..very reliable, solid,.. 40-50 hrs on the engines. Couldn't pass it up!!!

Thanks a million Scott!!!

Looks like I'm going to run IMCO extension boxes for the B1's I bought. I talked to little bill at Victory Marine about the Stellings boxes they have for the TRS conversions (they bought the remaning stock from Stellings) ...but think I'm gonna go with IMCO,..about 50 lbs lighter, and less drive shaft harmonics,..a bit more work on the transom to make them work...but I think the end result will be worth it.

I'd post some pics but not much to see yet...just been working my ass off to buy parts...can't wait till I start rigging her up. As soon as something exciting happens I'll post some pics.

Sweet ol skool ad!!! Hard to beleive that boat started at 22k....but back then I can imagine thats a bit of coin.

I am glad these will be going to a good home & that they are going to a very worthy cause !

They came out of a true Classic offshore & will be going into another !

If they do, I am have found a jacket of theirs in the lake on the 4th of July. If not, do you know who owns it now?
Thanks! Mike

Thanks, I got an e-mail., we were able to get together, and all good now! Actually I was thinking Brownies might be a likely place to run into the owners, but now no need, Good suggestion ...
