Tanks mikiedreb!
Is it still a 38'? Was that Active former something?

mikiedreb 04-25-2007 05:12 PM

Black Tornado...I called it a 38, but may have been a 37. Never actually took a tape to it. I'm not sure if the bustle mounted on the transom was included in the length. I seem to remember this Active Cat being the former Chrysler Laser boat.....

It seems that Chrysler Laser was the former Wolverine. But Wolverine seem is still alive somewhere.
But for this I think it's better open another thread.

Red's Chrysler Laser was the Benihana.

Ok.....lastest info on WARCRY.....formerly Wolverine, Systems, Daddy Cool, Priority One...then WARCRY. Canopies installed and bottom work performed by Westerly Marine in Cost Mesa, Ca., rigging done at PSA Marine in Alameda, Ca. Boat ultimately went to Lake of the Ozarks where rumor had it to be fitted w/turbines.

Sorry but you have the wrong Active cats, the early Active cats did not have the tunnel extension, the pic in post #55 of A J Roberts clearly shows that. Go to Back in The Day post to read the rest.

Tunnel extension was clearly added on at some point....not part of original mold. Pics of the boat as "Priority One" have it in white with grays and black trim......looks pretty familar.

Ok guys I think that we must open a new thread dedicated to the Active cats!
However it seem that Wolverine was not next Chrysler-Gallagher Systems but next AJ Jr'S Mr. Roberts.....can we put exact order to all that?!

warcry3 04-28-2007 07:16 PM

the real question on the warcry 50 boats id is this!
there was a picture molded into the front sponson when glassed up at the factury, it was XXXXX. unfortunly it was lost when i had the front foamed and sealed up when boat was re done. mikeiered knows of the pic. does this help in identifing?
also when sanding to paint warcry we found chry logo on sides
it was blur and white, then systems paint sceam, etc
thanks
