I am glad that "Wild Turkey" is still around. I also remember the year that the Sanger Alley Cat entered a bay race and had the field covered until something broke, that was the beginning of the Cat era in the Bay Races, but then again my memory is not as good as some of you "old-timers' - Mr. Berk. I am sure there are lots of Wild Turkey and Barnegat Bay race stories from the 70's and 80's that could be told.... I always find them interesting. |
