1981 Pantera 28ft on Ebay for $5999
#12
Pantera's don't have cores, that is the big joke, there was another thread recently. It WILL need new wood in Transom, and Stingers, but the price is a little high for a chunk of fiberglass.

I forwarded this to a buddy in La. that I happen to know has a pair of O/B's doing nothing.
I told him him what I read here but also said to put someone in a truck to go check it out.
Too cheap and rare not to.
As I said in one of the earlier threads on this boat....., if it's all glass anyhow...., whats going to rot?

Not that big of a deal, just sayin' that just cuz it aint got no core doesnt mean it aint rotted. Forward sections of stringers may even be OK, so ya may get away without too much destruction. In my 24, I had rot in the transom, and about 1 foot forward in the stringers. Cut it out, replaced the transom, spliced in new stringer sections, and doubled them up to the first bulkhead forward of the transom, then added big knees, and another layer of 1/2" to the transom between the knees where the outboard mounts.
