Just an FYI Black Magic 24 excaliber is in Vermilion all white now. Just saw it yesterday and talked to the guy. Needs some tlc.

What was the info for class L? I see it on Miss Cigarette.

"L" was local class now "P" class in OPA. Was a way for entry level guys to get into the sport. Roughly based on top speed. Glad to see someone is getting the old girl back on the water. I had a blast racing with Tim and building Miss Cigarette.

I believe it stood for local class racing not national, like a run what you brung class.

Damn, That pic doesn't really look like "Local" racers does it??? That's Bad Azz. I always thought of Offshore Racing as the "1 hour Ride of a Lifetime" That's what I tell People who have never done it. I try to talk them in to it

I go with C class as it had a much longer run in the offshore world, L class was short lived..
