Yes ,,hats it..
When I got it ,it was setup for extension boxes,,
we just redid ransom for standard Bravos but with a high x....
It was originally built with small blocks and Arnesons.. Has a lot of rocker
built in for the Arnesosns.. Ran a best of 92mph in that config..
Also somewhere along the way the step
was modified.. Right now Im just gonna throw a pair of 454s and Bravos on it
and see how she rides and go from there.. Wont be a race boat just a fun poker runner.
This is some very old video on her maiden race...

The steps where added and then modified a couple of times by Diesel Dave. They built the small blocks and added the best Bravo equipment out that year. The hardware in that boat was some of the best. This was the nineties. Venting the hull was the hot topic for a little extra. I stopped in the shop when Diesel was adding the vents out the side. I think I sent you the picture of the boat running the Eastlake race. The picture shows the side shot of the boat running. You can see the rocker of the hull, the X demention and the orientation of the venting compared to the surface of the water all in one shot. I will get off the phone and post the picture. Mike and Diesel where always trying everything they could get get a little more out of it. A wide heavy boat with a rocker. Good for the days when you raced unless there was lightning.

Yup,I have that pic ,, looks like it was riding pretty neutral there which is what you want.
On the 36 race boat what Sal Picon did was run air lines from the top to vent the steps.
Worked well but the 36 was twin step .
Im also re-installing the ballast tank back in the front in case the big blocks make it a little nose happy..
Like I said it will just be a fun poker run boat so its probably not gonna see the seas or speed it used to, if I can get mid 80s out of it Ill be tickled pink. Its still a very solid boat and being the only one ever made makes it all that much more interesting..

That is a good one. Almost pulled the trigger a couple of times when it was for sale. I don't think you will need the tank. Solid boat.

My very first race was in "Menner" (Mentor ) Ohio in 02 (I think it was) and if memory serves I got these stickers there. Found them pressed in the back of an old book this afternoon

Cant wait for racing to return this summer to "Menner"
