love it. the guys over at the old school facebook page would go nuts over that crazy how boats like that turn up that most of have never heard of just goes to show how much of the industry is looong gone now.. real shame I would snap it up so fast! |

Two outboards will never push a boat that big and heavy as well as two big blocks. 3 Verado's MIGHT get it on plane lol

Respectfully I dissagre. Two HPDI 300's will run this boat and then some. Look at what a pair of 250 OX66's will do with a 35 Contender at 12,000 #. Pulling those heavy TRS drives, C-72 transmissions and BBC's out will reduce a tremendous amount of weight. I bracket will also give more flotation. My bet - 300 HPDI's - the boat does 35 - 40.

For a 30-year-old design, it's kind of cutting edge. Kind of like the beta version of the 400 SuperSport.

Love the roomy layout. I'd be all over the one on BoatTrader if it was located a bit closer. Drop a pair of modern diesels in that and you'd double your cruising range along with fuel economy.
