Randy, add Your Schiada's racing history in APBA and her specs while racing, so Charlie is able to put her in the Historic Offshore Race Boat Association registry.
Hope You'll be able to find time to refurbish her. Such a rare cool boat and like most Schiada Custom Boats quite valuable, when in good condition, as you know.

After a trailer accident (1989) with my 233 Formula (Secret Formula) I had the Schiada built. She started racing with APBA in 1990 As Schiada Sea's B35 powered by the motors from the Formula. A set of 355 SBS making 475hp and a set of Alpha SS drives. I know they won't work,NOT ! LOL The motors are on a 20" staggered. Seating was 2 side by side. Added a rear seat later that year. We raced with POPBRA under Bob Nordskog. Think we were first in class for 1990 and 1991 and a West coast APBA B Class in 1991. One National win at Corpus Christi,TX in 1991. After that lots of problems.Looking for more speed. $$$$$. In the mid-90's went to 3 seats side by side. Some wins but and a new number (B85) ? In 1997 I started re-building the boat for the F16 canopy with crash systems. First and last race with the canopy was 2000 at Venture CA. Finished first but could see the hand-righting on the wall. Most of the guys coming into the class had lots of money. Did some poker runs at Lake Havasu ,AZ. After a scare with some jet skis at 100+ mph I made the decision to remove the canopy. Never liked the system. To much like a video game. Guess I'm just a wind and spray in the face guy. Now she is getting a new deck and some Bravo XR drives and 2 SBS 427.
