always considered this hull a contender for outboards. nice work. mine has 525s and b1xrs, good for mid 70s. a little less weight and you will likely see 76. what are you doing with the cabin door? does that open to the bow? or are you having to walk around the cockpit via the gunwales?

Just an update on this project. The boat is completely stripped and heading to paint this week!

Here is the concept for the boat paint and graphics. Clean and Simple. All the stainless will be painted black to give it a more modern look, like a nor-tech or midnight.

Looking good! solid progress for your original completion date of October.

Redesign is neat, i'm slightly more partial to the render you posted in june, but the black hull will be sweet! What's teh plan for the bright work? Powder coat or paint the stainless? Kick ass that you are doing all this work youself.

If you have photos of the inside of the cabin i'd love to see it. Keeping the head was a good idea.

Love seeing the hull with out the motors and general "former" engine are pictures. Gives everyone a good idea how well these models were constructed.

Primer and Final Sanding, I had to leave this to the professionals as I don't have a place to paint something of this size. By Mid August it should be in paint!

The graphics will be done in vinyl so it can be changed anytime. The stainless will be painted in epoxy so if it ever gets scratched/ nicked I will be able to repair it. Currently the cabin is unfinished and probably will be when we first put the boat in the water, that will be a work in progress.
