what type of finish are you spraying? the can be a big problem for some.

well i know 100 is too hot to be working with bondo!!!! by the time i was done mixing the hardener it was starting to kick!!! i ended up putting the bondo and hardener inthe fridge for a while then mixing it together...gave me just enough time to put it on the golf cart i'm workign on

make sure you have the slowest reducer they make for it. thats about all ya can co for the heat

Like dave said use the slowest redecer you can get. I do know that the newer Imron doesn't flow out as well as the older stuff did, even in ideal conditions. The larger area you are painting the more problem you are going to have, if the reducer is not hot enough.

Looks like I have screwed up then. The paint store sold me the paint and activator. The can didn't say anything about a reducer. All is said was 3 parts paint and one part activator. I found a old can of Imorn which I used on the trailer and it mention using a reducer

have already painted it ? ,what are you painting? how big of area?

Painted the transom of the boat. I still have plenty of paint left over. Guess I will see how if looks after I color sand it and buff it. I have only used imrom a couple of times and the other two times it came out great. This has more orange peel than I would have liked.

vs. the older stuff. If you spray it again you might want to try
adding a little reducer.
