Repainting my boat Project (With Pictures)
#81
Cord thanks for the info. I am trying to just get rid of the former paint job, so I do not want to dig into the gel at all if I can avoid it. I hope that this will keep that from happening. On the other side there were a lot of places that I went through the gel. Not to mention the time it took!!!

It is killing me to not be able to get the camera out there. However tomarrow I will try again. I spent another 5 hours sanding today and got the port side windows ground down and the top detail sanded and a little of the bottom sanded. If I can get some more sand paper tomarrow maybe I can finish the port side. I also did a lot of sanding on the transom and found that the jerk off that did the transom instead of filling the holes like he said he would with glass filled them with bondo!!! Piss me off when you pay good money to have something done correctly and the guy does it wrong. This is why I do as much as I can by myself. Anyhow look for more pictures soon.

I also decided to remove the nose cone off the old drive. The new one did not have it, so I decided to just take the nose cone off as this boat does not need them.

Good deal man!!!
Keep going
Your on a roll, cant stop now
Dont worry about the interior dust, just get a shop vac and will take you about 30+- minutes to clean it up, no biggie.
One question, Your not leaving ANY port holes in the hull at all?
just as a question but why?
not even one?
I can understand filling in SOME of them cause there are in my opinion too many and takes away from the lines of the boat and draws your eyes to it, but ALL of them?
