Cord yes I am using a DA to sand it dow. Keeping it flat so that I do not cause any waves or dips in the current gell coat. I have used a flat board in some locations were it was wavy before to smooth it out some. I hope for a good Sunday so that I can finish up the thing as far as sanding. Then I just need to get the windows filled in.

Well the races are over, seems like MFB357's boat is working well for him, and everyone in CA, MO, and so on's tunes are all working, so back into the boat I went last night at 6:00pm and did not come out untell 9:30pm!!! Man this was the nastiest part of the job yet. As you know some one suggested that I do away with my portholes. So this evening was the grinding of the inside of the boat. What a totally crapy job!!! I itch from head to toe and in places that I just do not care to discribe. The whole interieor is COVERED in fiberglass and I am sure I am going to ruin many many filters on my vacume to get it all out. Thank god I saved the interior project for last!!!! Well I will be back at it again this evening. I am looking to get the glass guy to finish up by the end of this week and to have the thing in primer by the fallowing weekend. If I can get the glass guy there before this weekend I can go to primer this weekend but that is not likely. I am going to miss my goal of the 4th of July week but oh well as long as it comes out the way I want it to.

Got some more work done today. Sanded about 1/4th of the bottom. Not fun either as the crap falls in your face!!! Just pluggin along. I will try and get some pictures tomarrow it started to rain so I packed it in.

Glassdave: I am going to let the guy that said he would do it do it. I will feel much better that way. He is REALLY good so if I have to waite a bit to get it done then so be it. At leaste I will know it is done correctly. He is sapposed to drop in tomarrow to make sure my grind on the one window is ok then I will do the other 7.

Another couple hours today. I got the windows on the Starbord side all ground down on the outside and ready for the glass. Now tomarrow with some luck I can finish up the other side and clean up the ungodly mess that is in the cabin. Then over the weekend maybe get a layer of glass on the inside and perhaps even build up some of the outside. I came up with what I hope makes sanding the other side faster in the smaller crevises. My Dremel tool just came back from its world wind tour of the country and I am thinking that I can put the small drum sander on there and hit the hard to get at areas with that. If it works I think it will shave my sanding time down by many hours. The other side took two days to get all the little nooks and crannies.

I don't know if it will help or not, but the rotozip tool bits fit the dremel and they go after fiberglass like a termite after pine!
