I hear you man, I have to get that team baja scheme mapped out, sanded, primed and taped off and painted in about 3 weeks time (and that is max time)
so Mother nature better cooperate with me or im gonna be pissed and pitching a monster tent over my boat but painting when it is humid out is a real bad idea
do the best you can and prey for sun

Right now I am ok with the rain!!! WE NEED IT!!! Lakes are down about a foot up high and I heard 10 feet in the large one!!! So I for the benifiet of everyone went out and washed my truck twice in the last two weeks and you guessed it RAIN both times SO I will wash again soon I am not on a time frame for anything but do the job correctly. I DO NOT want to have a prep problem.

Too Old sounds like you got a lot done. You will NO DOUBT be in the water well before me. I am still financially strapped and the bus. comes first, boat second. Now I am traveling so things are really going to slow down on this thing.

Audiofn

you could paint the black imron, (mine is gel, hard to keep up) and then yellow vinyl. I also have a thin white (painted by formula) stripe separating them, you could do that with pin stripe vinyl.

did you see the post on the scarab, name slips me. with the large vinyl swoop by Ryan Beckley sp? looks great

my $.04
already gave you $0.02 earlier

Nort yes it is on hold. Something about a three week trip to Cali. A week in Ft. Meyers, a weekend on the road to get Biggus's cig. Actually up till now every weekend it has rained so there has been no oportunity to work on it at all. When I get back I will make some time Stay tuned

Well it has been a while and finally after a lot of travel and fun in the sun I was able to work on the boat again. I did not get as much done as I had hoped today but none the less if feels good to make progress again. I got most of the port side sanded off. I had a customer that I messed up his house so I had to take the morning to fix that. Oh well. I hope that over the week I can finish sanding the sides and get the back sanded as well to include the detail sanding. Tag another 7 hours of sanding on today. My arms are killing me.
