Very nice ! looks like you got the right parts. How much boost do you plan to run ?

I'm with you, keep the air flowing through the motor. Better to see the big numbers on the dyno than a boost gauge. Good luck, let us know how it goes.

Really good numbers, post a dyno sheet and some pics if you get a chance. Also let me know what the boost numbers in the boat are. Mine were about 4psi lower in the boat. I've seen it before. I have my thoughts anyone else see this and have any thoughts on why.

Don,
I think lower boost numbers are the result of you not being able to load the motor in the boat like the dyno can. I see the same thing on my quad rotors......

I was told on a fast pull like a dyno the inertia builds up and it makes the higher boost. That was from Procharger. I didn't sit well with that answer. I see it in all the blower systems the dyno shows more boost in every application than on the water. I think I will bring it up to 5500 and hold it there with the dyno and slowly increase the throttle to WOT. That will test the inertia theory..

Another thought what is everyone using for Exhaust? I have been using the e-tops of the original engine. I see CMI says they are good to 650hp. Any thoughts, I wonder what I could get up top if I had Big tops?

I recall reading somewhere a 540 quad rotor made 1050 or so with e tops, and a header swap to big tube gave it another 40 or so h.p. I would imagine you would benefit at least that, but Im no pro.

P.S. Very nice setup you have, thanks for keeping us updated.
