Pink is great as long as you properly drain everything out of the systems.
The Pink has no rust inhibitors.
West marine has one or two levels above the pink that has rust inhibitors AND IN THE SPRING YOU CAN START THE BOAT AND LET THE STIFF GO, IT IS NOT TOXIC.
Personally I dump in a 50 50 mix of regular antifreeze after I drain everything, it is toxic, so I drain it out in the spring test it and then reuse it the next winterization.
Regular antifreeze will keep the motor interior coated with the rust inhibitors and be the best you can do as long as you don't dump it in the spring and reuse it again for your next winterization.
Good Luck

Best deal right here if you need to winterize the engine blocks. I never used the pink stuff in the blocks, for the exact reason you mention. On these closed cooling 525's the "real" antifreeze is already in the blocks, so I do use the pink to do the coolers and exhaust systems. I do drain the water first, then run it thru, just to be sure it is good to go. I'm in heated storage but do not want to worry if the heat goes out because of a winter storm. The pink stuff is fine,IMO, for this purpose. Again would never use it in the blocks, nothing like the old green toxic stuff for that.
