They are some of the best quality hyd lifters we use them all the time in the cars we build. Im a Morel dealer Id have to check but maybe able to help you guys out with them

Yeah cause it NEVER happened! Morel a huge multi national company called up BOB the snake oil salesman and needed help designing a lifter.. but SHHHH that`s just between me and you .. LMAO!

Ed Morel is local to us here in cleveland. Lives 15 minutes from me.
Super nice and knowledgable guy.
He came down to the machine shop when we set up my block for the .903 lifters.

The notion that Bob M had a hand in his R&D is probably bull. He comes of to the drags once in awhile. I'll ask him about that one, but I'm betting it's BS.

I can unfortunately say that I also had a Morel lifter break like this one and do some major damage but the issue was my installation. Unfortunately they can flip around if you are socking them or not paying attention and I did not notice during installation but it did bind up causing me to cut the lifter out. I am not saying this is what happened here but people do make mistakes.

I replaced those with Morels and have not had an issue and also have them in my new boat build and used the .750 roller hydraulic version.
