Glad to hear about your trailer decision. I ve had great luck with many mannings. I just had to have a new trailer built. My old 2002 manning was rusted out from the inside terribly. Just a word of advice that we did on my new trailer. Cap all the welds and seal the trailer up. It will come back 10 fold in the future.

8 years seems a little short life for a trailer..... Was this not something manning did wrong?

How much fuel was in your boat when you weighed it? If you were light on fuel remember that fuel weighs like 8 pounds a gallon...check ebay..they have some good deals on wheel and tire combos...
Water is 8lbs a gallon
Gasoline @ 70 degrees is 6.6lbs a gallon

Not much difference but still a decent amount when looking at 150+ gallons.

There is a table out there but fuel weighs different at different temps. But its usually between 6-7lbs.

I'm 3rd generation of a family fuel business so I am very familiar with the weights. The weights of fuel, specific gravity, octane, flash point etc all change in different altitudes and different areas of the country. We have also seen weight per gallon change with ethanol related fuels. Regardless my situation is that I have to worry about how much fuel, water, and coolers are on my boat and I dont like that. My new axles will allow 14,000# so I can trailer full, empty, with 30 cases of beer.....whatever I feel like. I am tired of worrying about making it TO the water.... now I just have to worry about the boat running when I get there lol

Goodyear Marathon's suck... Buy the Maxxis, and make sure you put the maximum air pressure in them.. Sidewalls flexing is what causes the heat and the failures.

MAX AIR PRESSURE IS THE KEY
